About Sonan Academy
Sonan Academy is a private academy aiming to bolster students’ academic success and critical thinking while also maintaining a positive, mindful environment. Through personalized instructions, we can help improve students’ academic prospects for both high school and college. This includes preparation for rigorous competitions such as the Scripps National Spelling Bee or the International Academic Competitions. Our academic programs cater to elementary and middle school students.
Sonan Academy’s namesake comes from the word “sonorous,” which means full of deep and pleasing sound. It is our wish to provide students with a foundation that will resonate throughout their lives through our teachings.
The piano program offers one-on-one private lessons in classical piano. Students will not only be taught the essentials of piano performance but also aural and theoretical skills. Lessons will be personalized for each student and will be constantly adjusted based on each student’s capabilities and progress. Beginner students are welcome!
